In an effort to be relatively generic, the script looks for some comments that allow it to preserve and replicate formatting between the links and comments and between the different links. In order for it to work with your links page, you need to insert the appropriate comments in the right places first. Take a look at the sample links page that the script generates for an example of the proper syntax.
